History of surface treatment technologies for mold forms by MishimaKosan began in 1956 when the company began to use special equipment for treatment of surfaces. For the first time MishimaKosan applied chrome coating in 1968. Since then, for over 40 years, the company treats surfaces - walls of continuous casting molds.
Simultaneously, with the progress of technology of wall coatings, lifetime of coatings is constantly increasing. To meet the demands of customers Mishima company is constantly improving technology, by selecting of new materials for surface treatment and regular testings of new mold coverings.
